Videomicroscope Videomicroscope is an electronic device which allows to examine with great accuracy printed circuits boards, allowing to easily identify short circuits or interruptions of the circuit tracks. It is very useful whenever there is a need to position with great accuracy microcomponents and to identify and fix problems in electronic assemblies.

It is built using an expecially designed arm, which holds at it's end a miniature colour camera. The arm is balanced, so that it can be set a different heights, correspondingly changing the magnification factor. The further apart from the surface to be axamined, the lower will be the magnification. The lens can be positioned as close as 10 cm (4 inches) giving a magnification of 50 times. When the arm is in the upper position at 25 cm (10 inches) the magnification is of 10 times. When the position is changed, it is easy to change the focus with the large knob at the endof the arm. In any position the camera is kept parallel to the surface and perfectly balanced, thanks to a counterweight.

Videomicroscope is supplied with a standard 220/240 V. external power supply, complete with power cord and the cable to connect it to the TV monitor with a gold plated RCA female connector. It can also be supplied as a complete system, with a dedicated TV monitor. In this case the power is taken directly from the monitor which switches on and off also the Videomicroscope.
